Exploration Geologist

We are seeking highly motivated Exploration Geologists to work with a team of geoscience professionals to advance Chalice’s early-stage PGE-Ni-Cu portfolio from exploration discovery to resource. In this full-time permanent role, you will have the opportunity to work on one of the best discoveries in recent times. Reporting to the Lead Geologist – Gonneville you will work both in the field and in the West Perth head office where you can hone your skills working alongside some of the world’s best explorationists. Roster designed to develop and progress keen geologists with field work and corporate office exposure.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Geology with additional postgraduate qualifications desirable
  • 6 months – 5yrs postgraduate industry experience, displaying a positive attitude to field work and the ability to  work in a small-team environment
  • A passion for discovery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-driven and results-focused
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised
  • Previous experience in nickel sulphide exploration and a knowledge of Ni-Cu-PGE orthomagmatic systems would be highly regarded
  • Exposure to Micromine and GIS software, as well as MS Office applications desirable

Stakeholder and Communications Advisor

This role will provide high-quality communication, branding and event support to both the Communications and Community teams located at our Head Office in West Perth.
Reporting directly to the Communications Manager to assist in the delivery of the company’s external and internal communications, this role will work across numerous areas including website management, social media, communications, branding and events.
The role will also assist in copy writing and artwork coordination for assorted company publications including community newsletters, social posts and regular advertising.
This role will also work closely with our Community Relations Advisor to provide support for or the management of our online Stakeholder Engagement register and community investment programs.

About You

We are looking for a highly organised individual, who is creative and enjoys working in a team environment.
You will be a self-motivated individual with an ability to problem solve, and a desire to learn about the Company’s projects and translate these to clear and effective messaging.
You will also have strong written and verbal communication skills, and will be comfortable in engaging and consulting with numerous stakeholders across the business.

This is a 4-5 day a week role, with competitive market remuneration and long-term incentives on offer. 

Requirement

  • Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write engaging and factual copy for publication.
  • Experience and/or a strong understanding of content management systems, digital and social media platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and work collaboratively with different business units and stakeholders.
  • Experience with branding and/or a strong understanding of the importance of consistent branding within an organisation.
  • A keen interest to grow and develop your skillset within communications.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Literacy in general admin duties to support a busy team.
  • Graphic design skill set not essential, but will be highly regarded.
  • Experience with organising conferences and/or events desirable.
  • 3 years’ experience in a communications / marketing role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in media, communications, or related field.
