About Us

Chalice is a globally recognised name in minerals exploration, led by an experienced team of proven mine-finders. Our major greenfield discovery in early 2020, the Gonneville Project in Western Australia, hosts a rare mix of critical metals required for decarbonisation and urbanisation including palladium, platinum, nickel, copper and cobalt.

Gonneville has a tier-1 scale Mineral Resource Estimate1 (Resource) containing approximately 17 million ounces of platinum group elements (PGEs), 960 thousand tonnes of nickel, 540 thousand tonnes of copper and 96 thousand tonnes of cobalt, making it one of the largest recent nickel sulphide discoveries worldwide, and the largest PGE discovery in Australian history.

Chalice is now advancing this world class critical minerals resource towards development. The recent Gonneville Scoping Study2 outlines a new long-life, low-cost, low-carbon critical minerals mine with the potential to deliver strong financial returns and regional benefits. The Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) for the Gonneville Project has commenced, which will assess several development cases with the aim of investigating significant upside.

The Gonneville discovery has opened up a new, largely unexplored mineral province, the West Yilgarn Ni-Cu-PGE Province, where Chalice holds an unrivalled ~9,600km2 land position. Chalice has a first-mover advantage in this exciting new nickel sulphide province and is progressing exploration activities across the region.

Chalice’s Gonneville discovery has been recognised by multiple awards including the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, with the discovery team receiving the prestigious 2023 Thayer Lindsley Award for best international mineral discovery.

The Company is led by a highly credentialed Board and management team, with a strong track record of value creation for shareholders.
